Harley-Davidson is enjoying massive attention, all thanks to its recent launches. In the recent few months, the motorcycle maker has introduced a slew of products for the Indian market. The list of newly-launched Harley motorcycles includes products in different categories. In this news article, we will briefly discuss the 2023 Pan America adventure tourer.
With the 2023 updated lineup, Harley Davidson will aim to attract more customers to its showrooms. Given the increasing rise in demand for premium motorcycles in the country. We believe Harley Davidson has a great lineup of products to explore and choose from.
We know that Harley-Davidson has taken the standard variant of Pan America off its portfolio. And it has replaced it with the Special trim to India. This variant of the ADV is available with either alloy wheels or spoke wheels. Notably, the latter comes equipped with tubeless tyres and demands a premium of INR 1 lakh over the former. Noteworthy to mention that the American motorcycle maker has kept the 2023 Pan America 1250 Special unchanged on all fronts. It currently retails with a price tag of INR 24.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
The motorcycle uses a 1,252cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor. This engine makes 150.9 BHP at 8,750rpm and 128Nm of peak torque at 6,750rpm. The included electronics package gets a host of features as per 2023 standards. It includes features like lean-sensitive traction control, cornering ABS, and an electronically linked braking system.
To further aid the rider, the motorcycle also gets hill hold control, cruise control, engine braking control, five pre-programmed riding modes, and three customisable modes. Moreover, Harley has also equipped the motorcycle with electronically adjustable semi-active suspension. This allows tweaking the USDs and monoshock as per the riding conditions.
Once launched in India, the 2023 Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 will have some competition from rival companies. This includes the likes of the BMW R 1250 GS, Honda Africa Twin, and Ducati Multistrada V4.
