Benelli has unveiled the 2023 edition of its TRK 502 adventure tourer twins at the ongoing EICMA show. For the new model year, the TRK 502 and the TRK 502X get some subtle visual changes while remaining mechanically pretty much the same.
First up, both bikes will now be available in new color options. This includes, white, blue, yellow, and anthracite grey for the X trim. Meanwhile, for the standard iteration, we get white, blue, glossy forest green, and anthracite grey. With the refreshed color palette, the motorcycle also gets a new set of decals on both variants. Other notable changes in the motorcycles include new black knuckle guards, a tweaked design for the rearview mirrors, and new hand grips.
The TRK 502 standard and X continue with the same 500cc, parallel-twin cylinder engine. The performance output of the motor reads as 46.8 BHP and 46Nm. Both the motorcycles come with a single gearbox option which is a five-speed manual unit. Most of the hardware is also pretty much identical on both variants. The only key major difference is in their wheel sizes and construction. The standard model rides on 17-inch alloys at both ends. On the other hand, the X trim sports a 19-17-inch spoke wheel combination, for the front and back respectively. As a result, with 220mm, the X trim boasts 30mm more ground clearance than the standard iteration.
Both the 2023 editions of the Benelli TRK 502 and TRK 502X will most likely arrive in India soon. But we are also expecting a hike in their prices with the update bits. At present, the standard version retails at an ex-showroom price of INR 5.59 lakh. Meanwhile, the X trim gets a price tag of INR 6.19 lakh. Both the prices mentioned are in the ex-showroom.
