Benelli India has made some significant changes to its middleweight adventure tourer motorcycle, the TRK 502. This is for the 2023 model year. The most notable update is the revised colour palette. This now includes four attractive options. Namely, dark grey, white, black, and green. However, the red paint theme has been discontinued.
Despite the changes in colours, the overall design of the TRK 502 remains unchanged. It continues to get a twin-pod headlight, semi-fairing, tall windscreen, split-style seats, 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends and an underbelly exhaust. Thus, giving it a sporty and adventurous appearance.
Under the hood, the TRK 502 carries forward its reliable and powerful 500cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. The engine gets a six-speed gearbox and delivers a maximum power output of 46.8 BHP at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 46 Nm at 6,000 rpm. This setup ensures a thrilling and capable ride for both on-road and off-road adventures.
The updated TRK 502 also comes with revised pricing. It is now available at INR 5.85 lakh, which is INR 25,000 more expensive than the previous price of INR 5.60 lakh. It’s worth noting that all paint options of the TRK 502 now retail at the same ex-showroom price tag, simplifying the purchasing process for prospective buyers.
With its road-biassed nature and versatile features, the TRK 502 is a popular choice for adventure-seeking riders in India. The introduction of new paint options adds more personalisation choices for potential customers. Thus, allowing them to choose a colour that matches their individual preferences.
Overall, the 2023 Benelli TRK 502 maintains its reputation as a middleweight adventure tourer. The motorcycle gets a stylish design, a capable engine, and a host of features. Be it commuting in the city or exploring off the beaten path, the TRK 502 aims to provide an exciting and enjoyable riding experience for adventure enthusiasts across the country.
