MY22 Yamaha XMax 250 debuts, not for India

Written by AnantaSaranNayak

Yamaha has unveiled the 2022 Model Year Yamaha XMax 250 for the Indonesian market. As a part of this update, the scooter will get two new colour schemes. This will come in the form of a Matte Green shade with golden wheels and a Metallic Red Shade with black wheels. Other than this, there’s no other upgrade, both mechanically or aesthetically. As it stands, Yamaha would not launch the XMax 250 for the Indian market anytime soon. So, Indians have a similar option in the form of the Aerox 155 maxiscooter.

Powertrain And Mechanicals

Powering the Yamaha XMax 250 is a 250cc single-cylinder engine. The performance figure stands at 22.8 BHP and 24.3 Nm. The chassis gets the support of telescopic forks upfront and twin shocks at the rear. Keeping up with the trend, the scooters get all the latest tech features. This includes Bluetooth connectivity, traction control, ABS, all LED lighting and a 12V charging port.
