Maruti Suzuki recently commenced accepting bookings on the “New-Age Baleno” in the Indian market. The brand announced that interested customers could reserve their hot hatch by putting down an amount of just INR 11,000 at the nearest NEXA dealership or through the brand’s official digital sales channels. Maruti Suzuki also gave us a glimpse of the exteriors of the new Baleno as well as teased us with the advanced technology the hatchback will come with.
Earlier, Maruti Suzuki revealed in a teaser that the new-age Baleno would come with a heads-up display. In the second round of the teaser, the brand has revealed information on the infotainment system that the car will come with. This leads us to believe that the brand is focused on the comfort and convenience features of the new-age Baleno.
2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno – SmartPlay Pro+ with Arkamys Surround Sense
The latest teaser reveals that the 2022 Baleno will come with a 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system. The floating-island style SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system will come with connected features and also offer insights to the driver through the large and bright screen. The dashboard on the infotainment screen offers information such as time, weather details, music, average speed and more at a glance.
The touchscreen infotainment system also comes with dedicated hotkeys arranged in a row under the main screen. This helps the infotainment system remain more tactile to the driver and allows safe operation while driving. However, the piece de resistance is the Arkamys Surround Sense sound system offering a superior acoustic experience. The new features on the new-age Baleno make it one of the most technologically superior premium hatchbacks in the country.
2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno – Tech Quotient
The Maruti Suzuki Baleno also comes with first-in-segment immersive technologies such as a heads-up display (HUD). HUD display all the critical information directly in front of the driver on a transparent screen. This helps the driver concentrate on the road increasing the safety quotient of the vehicle. The brand is also likely to offer 6-airbags and ESP on the new-age Baleno.
