One of India’s most renowned automakers, Maruti Suzuki, has unveiled a new feature for their upcoming Baleno facelift in India. Recently, the automaker commenced bookings for its ‘New Age’ Baleno whereby interested customers can pay INR 11,000 as a token. Maruti Suzuki will sell the upcoming facelifted Baleno via their NEXA dealerships throughout India and released multiple teasers for the same.
Throughout the previously released teasers, Maruti Suzuki mentioned that the ‘New Age’ Baleno would feature a heads-up display. Additionally, it also mentioned that the premium hatchback would feature the 9-inch SmartPlay+ system with Arkamys Surround Sound technology. This proves that Maruti Suzuki aims to revamp the Baleno to focus on comfort and technological features for enhanced convenience.
The new 15-second teaser from Maruti Suzuki’s official NEXA experience channel on Youtube showcases the 360 View Camera in action. The video shows that Maruti Suzuki has integrated the feature within the new 9-inch SmartPlay+ touchscreen infotainment system. While selecting reverse, the 360 View Camera displays a portrait of the Baleno on the left and guidelines on the right. Via this feature, drivers can easily keep their eyes out for hidden obstacles and get alerts if they get close.
The new 360 View Camera will also allow drivers to access three different individual views for greater visibility and safety. This goes to show that the upcoming Baleno will sport multiple best-in-class or segment-first features like the 360 View Camera. The feature will also allow drivers to park with ease and enhance safety for individuals around the car during manoeuvring. Until its eventual launch, Maruti Suzuki will continue to reveal new and exciting features on offer for the upcoming Baleno.
The ‘New Age’ Baleno continues to impress as the teasers unveil the brand new technological features on offer for customers. Meanwhile, the automaker has not yet provided complete details about the Baleno’s price, variant list, engine, or safety features. However, based on sources and leaked images, the premium hatchback will feature reprofiled sweptback LED headlamps with DRLs. Along with reprofiled LED clusters within the taillights, the Baleno is likely to feature seven variants and seven colour options.
