Husqvarna has announced the launch of the 2022 Model Year Husqvarna Vitpilen and Svartpilen motorcycles in the international market. The brand has revealed that the single-cylinder compact motorcycle range will receive new graphics for 2022. The trio, which includes the Svartpilen 125, Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 401, gets a fresh new design marking the new year. The brand also revealed that the 2022 Vitpilen and Svartpilen range is available now at authorised Husqvarna Motorcycles dealers, depending on the country.
The new graphics of the Vitpilen and Svartpilen models boast to enhance the street model’s instantly-recognisable design. The motorcycle retains the Swedish brand’s heritage whilst adding to a progressive mix of modern thinking and classic design. Furthermore, the trio also comes with additional performance options from Husqvarna Motorcycles in the form of a Technical Accessories range. The specially curated design and high-quality components further improve performance and durability. The brand also offers a Functional Street Apparel collection, including protective items to create a personalised look.
Powering the Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 is a EURO 5-compliant 125 cc single-cylinder engine with liquid cooling. The fuel-injected A1 licence compliant engine is packaged in a light, compact chassis offering an optimum power-to-weight ratio. The motorcycle also features high-specification components for the elder siblings, such as WP suspension, ByBre brakes and Bosch ABS.
Powering the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 is a EURO-5 compliant 373cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. The engine produces 44 Hp of power and comes with an Easy Shift that allows for clutchless gear changes. The motorcycle rides on a steel trellis frame with low weight and high-performance WP APEX suspension. The motorcycle comes with ByBre brakes and Bosch ABS for stopping power. The Svartpilen 401 also comes with spoke wire rims shod in Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres. The Vitpilen 401 also shares the engine with the Svartpilen 401 but comes with road-focused tyres.
