MY2021 Euro5 / BS6 Kawasaki Z900 launched at INR 7.99 lakh

India Kawasaki Motors Pvt. Ltd. (IKM) has announced the launch of new Euro5/BS6 emission compliant MY21 Z900 motorcycle in the Indian market. The MY2021 Kawasaki Z900 has been launched a the price of INR 7.99 lakh ex-showroom. The new BS6 compliant Z900 is available in 2 colours – Metallic Graphite Gray and Candy Lime green.

The MY21 Z900 retains the Z ‘Sugomi’ styling featuring a low-positioned headlamp unit with LED lighting, an upswept tail section with LED tail lamps, LED turn signal lamps, LED licence plate lamps a small flyscreen, muscular fuel tank, angular radiator shrouds, body-coloured belly, an all-new all-digital TFT 4.3-inch TFT colour instrumentation with smartphone connectivity via RIDEOLOGY THE APP, Kawasaki’s advanced traction control system, KRTC integrated riding modes.

The MY2021 Kawasaki Z900 is powered by a Euro5/BS6 compliant 948cc in-line four-cylinder liquid-cooled 4-stroke 16-valve DOHC fuel-injected engine that makes 125 PS of power and 98.6 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed return type gearbox. 

In terms of mechanical features, the 2021 Z900 features a steel trellis frame, 41mm upside-down adjustable front forks, adjustable horizontal back-link suspension, dual semi-floating 300mm petal discs on the front and single 250mm petal disc with dual 4-piston callipers on the front and a single-piston calliper on the rear. The Kawasaki Z900 comes with 17-inch alloy wheels shod in Dunlop Sportsmax Roadsport 2 tyres. 

A few weeks ago, India Kawasaki Motors also launched the BS6 compliant 2021 Kawasaki Vulcan S with an upgraded BS6 engine at the price of INR 5.79 lakh ex-showroom, India. With BS6 emission-compliance the 2021 Vulcan also comes with a new Metallic Flat Raw Graystone paint scheme. The predecessor was offered in Black and Orange with Black paint theme and was priced at INR 5.50 lakh & INR 5.60 ex-showroom respectively.  

Both the 2021 Euro 5 Kawasaki Z900 and the 2021 BS6 Vulcan can be booked via Kawasaki dealerships in India and the brand’s contactless digital channel by logging on to the Kawasaki India website.
