MV Agusta Superveloce Alpine is a limited edition exotic, only 110 units worldwide

Italian premium superbike manufacturer MV Agusta has joined hands with French automobile manufacturer Alpine synonymous with motorsports. MV Agusta has introduced the new Superveloce in Alpine blue livery priced at EUR 36,300 which is close to INR 32.5 lakh in the Indian market. As a tribute to the French and Italian design and racing heritage, MV Agusta has also announced that only 110 individually numbered examples of the Superveloce Alpine will be made for worldwide sales, inspired by the Alpine A110.

The limited-edition motorcycle has been richly detailed with the blue colour livery that matches with the current Alpine A110. The Superveloce Alpine also bears the signature Alpine ‘A’ on the side fairings which is reminiscent of the original Alpine model. The limited-edition Superveloce also features black finished CNC machined aluminium rims, black Alcantara leather seats with blue stitching. Leather strap on the fuel tank giving it the retro touch, a desiccated Alpine special kit for the limited-edition motorcycle that includes a race-track specific three exit Arrow exhaust system, CNC fuel cap, rear seat cowl, customised bike cover and a certificate of authentication. The motorcycle is also detailed with French and Italian flag displayed on either side.

The MV Agusta Superveloce Alpine is powered by a 798cc, liquid-cooled three-cylinder, four-stroke 12-valve DOHC motor with mechanical chain tensioner and DLC tappet and electronic fuel injection that produces 147 HP of power and 88 Nm of torque coupled to a 6-speed gearbox with MV EAS 2.1 (Electronically Assisted Shift Up & Down). The MV Agusta Superveloce weighs 173 kg (Dry) and is capable of achieving a top speed of 240 kmph. In terms of the mechanical parts, the Superveloce features ALS tubular steel trellis frame that rides on rides on 43mm Marzocchi upside-down forks with rebound-compression damping and spring preload adjustment on the front and a single fully adjustable Progressive Sachs unit on the single-sided swingarm at the rear.

The Alpine Modele A110 is powered by a 1.8-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine mounted in the rear centre position like a true sports car and is tuned to develop 252 Hp of power and 320 Nm of torque matched to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The car tips the scales at just 1,098 kgs giving it a weight/power ratio of 4.35 kg/hp which enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 4.5 seconds and achieve a top speed of 250 kmph.
