MV Agusta has introduced the 2021 MV Agusta F3 Rosso in the international market. The 2021 MV Agusta F3 Rosso features a new ‘Deep Red’ colour suggestive of its moniker. The brand has also upgraded the F3 Rosso with a new Euro5 compliant engine, minor mechanical changes and new electronic upgrades.
The MV Agusta F3 Rosso comes with the hallmark MV Agusta design language. The supersport model features a sharp and aerodynamic front with a diamond-shaped headlamp cluster. The motorcycle features a classic Italian design tank with spark features and a full fairing. The bike also comes with a bubble windscreen, clip-on handlebars and a sleek tail section. But the piece de resistance pièce de résistance is the chiselled exhaust pipe outlets. Enhancing the looks of the motorcycle is a single-sided swingarm and twin-spoke alloy wheels.
Powering the MV Agusta F3 Rosso is a 798cc three-cylinder, 4-stroke, 12-valve DOHC engine. The liquid-cooled engine comes with a mechanical chain tensioner and DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) tappet. The new engine also comes with exclusive features such as Titanium intake and exhaust valves. The engine produces 147 Hp of power and 88 Nm of torque. The MV Agusta F3 Rosso also comes with a new wet multi-disc slipper clutch on the cassette-style 6-speed constant mesh gearbox. The brand claims that the MV Agusta F3 Rosso can achieve a top speed of 240 km/h.
The brand has added a new 5.5-inch TFT LCD screen to the F3 Rosso. Other electronics features include a full ride by wire system, MVICS 2.1 (Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System) with six injectors, Eldor Nemo 2.1, Engine control unit, Mikuni throttle body with four maps, MV EAS 3.0 Electronically Assisted Shift up & down, traction control with eight levels of intervention, Front Lift Control, Continental MK100 with RLM (Rear Wheel Lift-up Mitigation) and cornering ABS function.
The MV Agusta F3 Rosso features ALS Steel tubular trellis with an aluminium alloy swingarm. The motorcycle rides on rebound-compression damping and spring preload-adjustable 43mm Marzocchi upside-down telescopic hydraulic front forks. The bike gets a progressive Sachs unit with rebound and compression damping and spring preload adjustment function. The MV Agusta F3 Rosso comes with 320mm front and 220mm rear discs with Brembo stoppers.
