Motoroyale, the retail outlet for superbikes under the Kinetic Group have announced the launch of MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR series of motorcycles in India. The MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR has been priced at INR 18.73 lakh and the Dragster 800 RR America also asks for the same amount of money. However, the MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR Pirelli edition has been priced higher at INR 21.5 lakh, ex-showroom. These are one of the most expensive 800cc class naked motorcycles in the country, but one look, and you know why.
Powering the MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR motorcycles is a 798cc, 3-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke petrol motor producing 140 HP of peak power @ 12,300 RPM and 86.9 Nm of peak torque @ 10,100 RPM matched to a 6-speed gearbox. The brand claims a top whack of 244 kmph for all three bikes with a dry weight of 168 kg.
All of these 3 models will be brought to India via the CBU route, and bookings are now open across all Motoroyale showrooms in India with deliveries expected to commence in the coming weeks.
Features of the Dragster 800 RR range includes 8 kg lighter weight compared to the Brutale, 8-level traction control, ride-by-wire, Bosch 9 ABS with rear lift protection, slipper assist clutch, LED DRLs, LED tail lamp, triple pipe exhaust end can which is a signature of MV Agusta, exposed trellis chassis, digital speedo console, single-sided swingarm, USD fron fork, rear monoshock, engine under belly cowl and of course the super chiseled body work all around.
Of course, as the name suggests, the MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR America takes inspiration from the American flag in terms of the colour scheme. Only 5 units of the MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR America will be coming to India. The MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR Pirelli motorcycle is designed with Pirelli with the iconic shade of Pirelli yellow used generously. All 3 models, the standard along with America & Pirelli are mechanically similar save for the cosmetic differences.
