Moto Morini X Cape 650 & X Cape 650 X price reduced by up to INR 1,31,000

Adishwar Auto Ride India (AARI) has unveiled its ambitious 2024 plans for the iconic Italian motorcycle brand, Moto Morini. The announcement includes an aggressive price revision aimed at enhancing the brand’s presence in the Indian market.

New Pricing for X Cape 650 and X Cape 650X

In a move that aligns with AARI’s 2024 vision for Moto Vault & Moto Morini, the company has announced new pricing for the X Cape 650 (Tourer) and X Cape 650X (Adventure Tourer). The revised prices, effective from 15th May 2024, are as follows:

X Cape 650 – Alloy Wheel: Priced at Rs. 5,99,000, it is now Rs. 1,31,000 more affordable.
X Cape 650X – Spoke Wheel: Priced at Rs. 6,49,000, it is now Rs. 1,01,000 more affordable.
These prices are standard across all colour offerings on all models. The revised pricing is expected to make these products an even stronger value-for-money proposition.

Specifications of the Motorcycles

The X Cape 650 is powered by a 649cc, four-stroke, twin-cylinder, DOHC engine with 4 valves per cylinder. It delivers a maximum power of 61 hp at 8500 rpm and a maximum torque of 56 Nm at 7000 rpm. The motorcycle features a 6-speed transmission, a steel trellis frame, and an aluminium swingarm. It is equipped with a 50mm upside-down telescopic fork and a single shock absorber, both fully adjustable. The motorcycle weighs 213 kg and has a fuel capacity of 18 litres.

The X Cape 650X shares the same engine specifications as the X Cape 650 with some changes in the dimensions. It also sports spoked wheels instead of alloys. It has a length of 2200mm, a width of 900mm, and a height of 1390mm. The wheelbase is 1490mm long and the bike weighs 235 kg. The 650X offers 175mm of ground clearance and the seat rides 835mm above the ground. The fuel tank carries 18 litres of petrol.

As part of its 2024 vision, AARI also plans to expand its dealer network in India, which will further strengthen Moto Morini’s presence in the country.
