Moto Morini has launched its Adventure based offering, the X-Cape 650, for the Indian market. Prices starts at INR 7,20,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). The motorcycle is available in two variants namely, standard and X. The latter is priced at INR 7,40,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Moto Morini X-Cape 650 – Key Highlights
The Moto Morini X-Cape 650 is very much a full-fledged Adventure tourer motorcycle. Key design highlights of the X-650 include split LED headlights with a tall transparent visor. Thus the motorcycle does get a very sporty overall design. The X-Cape 650 makes use of a split-seat setup. There’s also a small tail rack for added convenience for the rider.
The motorcycle uses a 649cc liquid-cooled inline twin engine linked to a six-speed gearbox. The X-Cape motor makes 60 BHP of power and 54 Nm of torque. On the equipment list, Moto Morini has given significant attention to the X-Cape 650 with LED illumination, a seven-inch TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity, riding modes, a USB charging port, ABS, and more.
The X-Cape gets the support of USD front forks and a mono-shock setup for the rear. Braking power comes from dual 298mm front discs and a single 255mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS as a standard fitment. The base model uses 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels. On the contrary, the X variant uses spoked wheels of the same size. Both models ride on a 110/80 front and a 150/70 rear tyre.
Colours, Bookings And More
Moto Morini has already commenced the bookings for its latest offering. The booking amount starts at INR 10,000. The motorcycle is available in three colour shades. These are, namely, Smoky Anthracite, Carrara White and Red Passion. Customers looking for alternatives can have a look at the Triumph Tiger Sport 660, Kawasaki Versys 650, Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT, and the CFMoto 650 MT.
