Moto Morini reveals X-Cape 650 adventure motorcycle

Italian motorcycle brand Moto Morini has unveiled the new X-Cape 650 adventure motorcycle. The brand’s official website confirms that the ADV will launch soon in the international market. The bike comes with typical adventure touring aesthetics and an L-twin engine that conforms to Euro5 standards. The company will position the motorcycle in the middle-weight segment for ADV motorcycles. Moto Morini also revealed that it will offer the bike in three colour options – Red, Grey and White. 

Moto Morini X-Cape 650 – Engine Specifications

Powering the Moto Morini X-Cape 650 is a 649cc, L-twin cylinder, four-stroke engine. The liquid-cooled engine with an 8-valve DOHC distribution system and Bosch electronic fuel injection system. The motor pumps out 61 PS of power and 56 Nm of torque. The motorcycle also comes with a 48 Hp output for A2 licence holders in Europe. 

Moto Morini X-Cape 650 – Dimension & Weight 

The Moto Morini X-Cape 650 measures 2190mm in length, 905mm in width, 1390mm in height, 1470mm of the wheelbase and 175mm of ground clearance. The motorcycle comes with two saddle height options – an approachable 820mm seat height and a commanding 845mm of seat height. The ADV also features a fuel tank capacity of 18-litres and tips the scales at 213 kg dry. 

Moto Morini X-Cape 650 – Mechanical Features

The Moto Morini X-Cape 650 comes with a trellis frame and an aluminium swingarm. The motorcycle rides on a 50 mm long travel upside-down suspension on the front and a mono-shock on the rear. The ADV features a 19-inch front, and 17-inch rear spoke rims shod in tubeless tyres. Stopping power comes from 298mm twin discs with two-piston floating callipers on the front and 255mm single disc with two pistons calliper on the rear. The brand also offers a Bosch 9.1 MB Switchable ABS for more control. 

Moto Morini X-Cape 650 – Top Features

The Moto Morini X-Cape 650 features an adjustable touring visor, full-LED headlights and a large 7-inch TFT dash screen. The motorcycle also comes with accessories such as luggage bags, protection bars, heated knobs, etc. 

While the Moto Morini X-Cape 650 will arrive in the European market in the coming months, it is improbable that the brand will introduce the bike to the Indian market anytime soon.
