Moto Bologna Passione (MBP) has announced its foray into the Indian market. The company has tied up with Adishwar Auto Ride India Pvt. Ltd for distribution and sales / service. MBP is a sister concern of Benelli and Keeway motorcycles and will be concentrating on bikes with engine capacity greater than 500 cc. At the Auto Expo 2023, MBP has unveiled two new bikes – M503N, a naked street cruiser and a C1002V modern cruiser.

MBP M502N

The M502N is a typical Italian motorbike with a lightweight aerodynamic stance, with a naked street body. It gets an angular fuel tank, rear air vents and sleek panels. Other features include a 4.2-inch full colour screen, automatic LED headlamps, dual 300mm front discs and a single 240 mm rear disc. It rides on golden KYB inverted forks at the front and a preload-adjustable KYB monoshock at the back.

The bike is powered by a 486cc liquid-cooled, parallel twin engine with 8 valves. The motor is rated at a peak power of 50,95 HP @ 8,500 rpm and a max torque of 45 Nm @ 6,750 rpm.

MBP C1002V

The MBP C1002V gets a typical cruiser motorcycle silhouette. The key design highlights are its large 22-litre teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a round LED headlamp unit, a wide handlebar, circular mirrors, split-type seats, dual exhausts, and a neatly-cropped tail section with a sleek LED tail lamp. Uniquely,  the passenger seat is designed to double up as a backrest for the rider and the footrests are positioned for a classic, relaxed cruiser posture.

It is powered by a 997cc liquid-cooled 80-degree V-twin motor. This engine develops 93.87 Hp @ 7,600 rpm and a peak torque of 102 Nm @ 6,500 rpm. Power is sent to rear wheels via a 6-speed gearbox and a belt drive.

Suspension duties are handled by a KYB upside-down telescopic forks at the front and a KYB Prolink rear shock.
