Mini have announced the launch of their facelift Cooper range of cars in India. The Mini Cooper will now be available in India in three body styles – 3-door hatchback, 5-door hatchback and a convertible. Recently, Mini also launched the new Countryman in India.

Changes on the new Mini Cooper facelift includes new LED DRLs within the round headlamp, front grille in gloss black, new fog lamp positioning, oval ORVMs, new & larger LED tail lamps with a Union Jack design. Inside, the facelift model benefits from a 6.5: infotainment screen and a even bigger 8.8″ touchscreen entertainment unit available as optional. For music, you have the setup from Harmon Kardon, then there’s ambient lighting, leather wrapped steering wheel, panoramic sunroof, head-up display, engine start / stop button, etc.
Mini cars come with dual front airbags, ABS with BA, cornering brake control, stability control, crash sensor and run-flat tyres as standard.
Powering the Mini Cooper S (3-door & Convertible) is a 2.0L turbo-petrol 4-cylinder engine producing 189 BHP of power and 280 Nm of torque matched to a 7-speed automatic gearbox. The Cooper D (3-door & 5-door) comes with a 1.5L, 3-cylinder, turbo-diesel motor producing 112 BHP of power and 270 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Drivers can engage 3 driving modes – Sport, Green & MID.
The new Mini Cooper cars will be available from June 2018 onwards, and are brought in as CBU (Complete Built Unit). Across the model range, you have a total of 14 colours for the new Mini Coopers, of course few are model specific paint jobs.
