British heritage brand MG has launched the new facelift version of the MG ZS SUV in the UK. The new MG ZS comes with refreshed styling on the exteriors, revised interiors with new equipment and comes powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine. In the Indian market, the Chinese owned brand offers only the fully-electric powertrain model and looks similar on the exteriors.

On the exterior, the MG ZS features Bi-Function LED headlamps and integrated LED daytime running lights in new sharp styling, a wide air dam flanked by the new fog lights set on the refreshed bumper which echoes its styling inspiration for other MG SUV such as the Hector, a hexagonal grille design, silver roof rails dual-tone alloy wheels, flared wheel arches, a muscular rear bumper and revised LED taillights.

On the inside, the MG ZS SUV comes with soft materials and stitched leather effects, heated front seats, dimpled leather-wrapped flat bottomed steering wheel with controls and contrast stitching, a multilayered dashboard layout with textured embellishments and silver trim, a centrally mounted 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with radio, satellite navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, 360-degree parking, automatic climate control etc.

The MG ZS SUV is powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder 16-valve, DOHC VTi Tech naturally-aspirated port fuel injection petrol engine that produces 106 PS of power and 141 Nm of torque matched to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The MG ZS SUV features safety features such as front dual airbags, front side airbags, side curtain airbags, ARP (Anti Rolling Protection), ABS + EBD, ESP, EBA, Hill Launch Assist, rear ISOFIX and other automotive industry safety features such as seat belt reminder as standard while the top trim also gets Blind Spot Monitoring.

The MG ZS SUV in the UK is priced starting at GBP 15,495 (OTR) for the Excite model and from GBP 17,795 (OTR) for the Exclusive trim.
