MG has launched the updated ZS EV in India. The electric vehicle now comes with Level 2 ADAS features. The introductory price has been set at INR 27,89,900 for a limited period.

As part of the package, the ZS EV now comes with assistance, control and comfort in different driving conditions. The Autonomous Level 2 tech in the car comes with three levels of sensitivity. These are namely low, medium and high. Further, there are three levels of warnings as well – haptic, audio and visual. Thus the car not only enhances the driving experience but also the safety of the occupants of the vehicle. Here are some of the
Traffic Jam Assist (TJA) – This ensures a comfortable driving experience in congested traffic situations.
Forward Collision Warning (FCW) – The system alerts the driver to a possible collision and also brakes to slow down the car if the driver doesn’t take any action.
Speed Assist System (SAS) – This ensures overspeeding is not done by the driver by sending alerts.
Lane Functions – The system keeps the car in its lane by helping correct the unintentional deviation.
Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) – ANother great tool to reduce driver fatigue. The system maintains not just the speed set, but also the safe distance from the car in front.

The ZS EV is India’s first Internet SUV. The all-electric car comes with multiple charging options like DC Super-Fast Chargers, AC Fast Chargers, AC Fast Charger at MG dealerships, Portable charger with ZS EV and 24X7 mobile charging support via RSA.
The ZS EV also comes with a 50.3 kWh battery which offers a maximum range of 461 km on a single charge. The motor output is 176 PS and the 0-100 km/h time is 8.5 seconds. Further, the battery in the ZS EV is a prismatic cell-type battery which is claimed to have better range and life while offering high energy density.
On the inside, the ZS EV, MG comes with an all-black theme with contrast silver inlays. Key features of this SUV include a wireless charger, heated exterior rearview mirrors, a 360-degree parking camera, a 7-inch full-TFT instrument panel, power front seats, and an automatic parking brake.
