Morris Garages is on a roll. MG Motor India started their innings in our market with the Hector 5-seater SUV in 2019, and this car has been very well accepted by the market. Now, the brand is all set to launch their 2nd product which is the ZS EV electric SUV also known as eZS in some markets, and the car has garnered impressive booking numbers even before launch.
MG Motor India has revealed that the ZS EV has bagged more than 2,100 bookings in just 27 days. This booking number is higher than the entire electric vehicle segment sales figure across India between April – December 2019. The upcoming MG ZS EV has alone grown the size of the electric car market becoming the most wanted product in the battery operated segment.

The electric drivetrain produces 142.7 PS of power and 353 Nm of peak torque allowing for this 5-seater electric SUV to sprint from 0-100 kmph in 8.5 seconds. The battery pack has an IP67 rating and the battery alone has also met with the UL 2580 safety standard. The MG ZS EV will charging from 0-80% with an AC charger installed at your home in 6-8 hours.
