MG Motor India has announced that the brand will soon launch a new all-electric vehicle in the Indian market. Recently, the brand revealed that the new all-electric CUV (Crossover Electric Vehicle) will be christened “Windsor” in the Indian market. The name draws inspiration from the iconic Windsor Castle in the UK. Now, just like the Royal residence the Windsor CUV will come with luxurious features such as Aero-Lounge seats.
The Aero-Lounge seats blend luxury with comfort and feature a 135-degree recline angle offering relaxation to the rear passengers as well. The stand out feature is designed for both short city drives as well as long journeys. The seats too draw inspiration from the iconic architectural masterpiece, the Windsor Castle and offer ergonomics with aesthetics, reveals the brand. In addition to the luxurious seats the brand also reveals that the cabin will be quite spacious.
The Windsor CUV also comes with an aerodynamic design that helps improve the efficiency of the battery pack. In addition to this, the size of the crossover is also ideal for driving on urban roads as well as while navigating around tighter spaces in the city. The CUV also comes with a high ground clearance, thanks to which the Windsor is capable of traversing over speed breaker and pot holes with ease.
The MG Windsor is also well equipped in terms of its clearance to glide over uneven surfaces with ease reveals the brand. While MG has not yet revealed the specifications for the MG Windsor EV, the international spec model measures 4,295mm in length, 1,850mm in width, and 1,652mm in height. The India-spec CUV is also likely to remain identical to the international one. The Windsor electric CUV is also likely to come with a 50.6 kWh battery pack that returns a range of around 450 km on a single charge.
