JSW MG Motor India introduced the MG Windsor EV in September of this year. Since its launch, it has taken control of the EV market. The Windsor EV has attracted a lot of interest and sales over the past several months because of its distinctive battery rental program and affordable outright cost.
MG Windsor EV November sales performance:
In November, the carmaker reported sold more than 3,100 Windsor EV units. With these numbers, the all-electric model sold far more than any MG vehicle. For instance, Hector sold 1,106 units in November, making it the next best-selling MG. Additionally, in November sales, the Windsor also beats the Mahindra XUV400, Citroen eC3, and MG ZS EV.
The MG Windsor EV is available for purchase in three different models. Comprising the ex-showroom and battery costs, it ranges from INR 13.50 lakh to INR 15.50 lakh. However, customers can also choose the BAAS (Battery as a Service) plan, which lowers the base-level model’s upfront cost to just INR. 10 lakh and charges Rs. 3.5 per km for battery rental.

MG Windsor EV Powertrain:
The Windsor comes with a single electric motor with a 38 kWh battery pack. 136 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque are produced by the powertrain configuration. The electric vehicle can travel up to 332 kilometres between charges. Furthermore, DC rapid charging is supports the EV which charges the battery pack in 55 minutes.
MG Windsor EV feature:
Coming to the features, it has an 8.8-inch digital driver’s display and a huge 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The EV also has a panoramic glass roof, wireless phone charging, a powered tailgate, a powered driver seat, and automatic air conditioning.
Six airbags, electronic stability control, a 360-degree camera, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) are among the safety features of the Windsor EV.
