MG Motor India has reported a 28 per cent year-over-year increase in retail sales. With 6,051 units sold in March 2023. This marks the highest monthly sales volume ever achieved by MG India. Improved semiconductor supplies due to localization efforts and logistical bottlenecks helped boost sales. The company remains optimistic that this momentum will continue to build in the near future.
The updated Next-Gen MG Hector, India’s first internet SUV, continues to lead the market. With the second-highest lifetime sales recorded in March. The ZS EV, often dubbed India’s first pure electric internet SUV, is also getting good responses from customers. All of the manufacturer’s models are reportedly receiving encouraging sentiment from consumers. Sales of the Advanced Gloster too is seeing an uptick since its launch in 2020.
MG Motor India is preparing to launch its forthcoming smart EV, Comet. With this, it aims to contribute to the company’s commitment to green and stress-free urban commuting.
