MG Motor India sold 2,481 cars in November ’21

MG India announces its sales report for November 2021. The company sold a total of 2,481 units for the given month. The company mentioned that the global shortage of semiconductor chips is causing a significant challenge for the production of new vehicles. But the company has assured that they are working hard to deliver cars to their customers on time. Keeping with the promise, MG plans to deliver the first batch of 5,000 Astor within 2021. The SUV has received a very positive reception from the customers and hence the high demand.

MG Astor – The Revolution In Mid-Size SUV Segment

Given the rise in demand for mid-size SUVs in the market, we are witnessing an influx of new models into the segment. MG’s offering in this segment in the form of the Astor is also quite tempting given the overall package it offers. MG seems to have cracked the formula to sell its cars in India.

Astor comes with a host of features, including a long list of first-in-segment kits as well. And as per pricing is concerned, MG has nailed it in this aspect as well. With a starting price of INR 9,78,000, the SUV did grab the attention of a large section of potential customers. In fact, MG has also confirmed that they have received high volumes of booking for the entry-level trims, namely, Style and Super.

MG Gloster recently celebrated its 1st year anniversary in the country. To commemorate this occasion, MG India had organised a 4×4 driving experience for its customers. More than 50 families took part in this event and experienced the off-roading capabilities of its luxurious and premium, Autonomous Level-1 SUV. Moreover, Gloster 1st anniversary also completes MG India 1 year of Autonomous Driving tech.

MG’s SUV lineup currently consists of four offerings. These are Astor, Hector, ZS EV and Gloster. Of these, the Astor and Hector are in much demand and will continue to do so, given the customers’ growing affinity towards SUVs. In the EV segment as well, MG’s offering in the form of the ZS EV is also doing pretty well. There are rumours that MG will soon have an updated version of the model that will come with a higher driving range.
