Riding on the success of the newly launched Astor, MG India expands its presence in the country. The company recently added a new service facility in Malda, Mumbai. As per MG, this is its largest-ever service facility in Western India. Customers can avail of all the requirements, including service, spare parts and accessories. And now, with the addition of this facility, MG operates 43 touchpoints in Maharashtra and plans to expand to 45 touchpoints in the state by 2022-end. Across India, the carmaker has a total of 310 touchpoints centres. These service facilities bring in the British heritage, as evident in MG’s range of SUVs that are on sale.
With the recent launch of Astor, MG’s sales figure has taken a sharp increase. The SUV is the perfect choice for Indians looking for a family car with all the latest features as per 2022 standards. Moreover, MG has also priced the Astor quite well, thus attracting attention from all corners. In terms of design, the SUV looks quite radical, especially in the black shade.
The equipped ADAS and connected tech feature is a cherry on the cake. MG has been a front runner bringing in revolutionary features to its car. First, we saw the ‘Internet Inside’ with Hector that popularised the connected car tech in the country. And now the ‘AI Inside’ tag with Astor, we are sure this too will bring a revolution in the Indian car market in terms of ADAS.
Having launched the MG ZS EV back in 2019, it was one of the early EVs in the country. The car did play a pivotal role in popularising EVs and also lay a foundation stone for the road ahead. Now, MG has updated the ZS EV, and there are some noticeable changes. The car will hit the showrooms soon in a much-improved packaging when compared to its predecessor.
