MG Motor India has launched the new Hector Blackstorm variant with new features to its exteriors as well as its interiors. The changes to the special edition are mainly cosmetic. The brand is offering the Hector Blackstorm exclusively in the Sharp Pro variant which means that the new features are over the existing attributes offered in the Sharp Pro Hector. Pricing for the Hector Blackstorm starts from INR 21.25 lakh ex-showroom and goes upto INR 22.76 lakh ex-showroom.
MG Hector Blackstorm – What’s New?
The MG Hector Blackstorm comes with a Starry-black colour exterior and Black Theme interiors. In addition to this, the SUV also comes with Red accents on the exteriors as well as Gun Metal accents emphasising its powerful character. The brand offers the Hector Blackstorm edition in 5, 6 and 7-seater configurations, prices of which are given below.
On the outside, the Starry Black paint theme also comes with Dark Chrome branding and Dark Chrome Argyle inspired Diamond Mesh front grille. In addition to this, MG also offers Dark Chrome inserts on the Skid Plates, Dark Chrome Tailgate garnish, Dark Chrome Finish in the Body Side Cladding and Piano Black Roofrails.
The Hector Blackstorm also comes with 18-inch Sporty All Black Alloy wheels with Red Brake Calipers. The MG Hector Blackstorm features LED Headlamps with Piano Black bezel and LED Blade Smoked Connecting Tail lights. In addition to this, customers can also gets the BLACKSTORM word mark fitted at the dealership at no extra cost.
The MG Hector Blackstorm also gets opulent black theme interior with Gun Metal accents. The SUV on the inside, features a Gun Metal Grey Finish on the Console as well as the Dashboard. The Hector Blackstorm also boasts India’s largest 14-inch HD Portrait Infotainment System as well as a Dual Pane Panoramic Sunroof. The brand also offers all-black leather upholstery with Hector Blackstorm. It also gets BlackStorm debossing in the front headrest and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with a Gun Metal finish.

MG Hector Blackstorm – Technical Specifications
Powering the MG Hector Blackstorm is a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. The gasoline engine produces 143 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. The motor is available with a 6-speed manual as well as a CVT automatic transmission. However, the Blackstorm variant is not available with a manual transmission on the petrol motor. The MG Hector is also available with a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine. The oil motor produces 170 PS of power and 350 Nm of torque. MG Hector Blackstorm comes only with a 6-speed manual gearbox in its diesel engine avatar and there is no automatic available on the diesel engine.
