Morris Garages India has announced the first two residential community chargers in Raj Aangan Society (NRI Colony), Jaipur (Rajasthan). This is in line with the carmaker’s charger infrastructure expansion drive. Under this, the company aims to install 1000 AC fast chargers at residential localities across India in 1000 days. The SMART chargers installed are Type 2 chargers. These are sim-enabled and get support through a sharable Charger Management System. These connected AC charging points will cater to the residents and also the visitors of these societies for their EV charging needs. The charging stations will also operate on all days, i.e. 24 hours, 7 days a week.
For all its customers, MG provides a 6-way charging ecosystem. This includes a plug-and-charge cable onboard, an AC fast-charger (installed at the customer’s home/office), DC superfast chargers at MG dealerships, public charging network, and charge-on-the-go with RSA (Roadside Assistance) and a community charger. Furthermore, MG recently partnered with Jio-Bp and BPCL. This will further add momentum to EV adoption by expanding opportunities for intercity travel while installing EV chargers across highways and cities.
Morris Garages has added its certified pre-owned car market for the Indian market. As a part of this, MG aims to provide quick and the best residual value for MG’s range of vehicles. MG India mentioned that these vehicles will go through 160+ checks to ensure the utmost quality standards. MG will also take up systematic evaluation for the pricing of the used cars.
The carmaker further confirmed that MG Owners can also sell their MG vehicles without any obligation to exchange them for a new MG car. This is a much more convenient approach for the customers looking to sell their old cars. To ensure complete customer satisfaction, they also get 3 years and unlimited KMs Warranty, 3 Years of Roadside Assistance, and 3 Free Services.
