MG’s upcoming all-electric two-door sportscar Cyberster has set a new record ahead of its official debut in India. The upcoming EV has become the fastest car to do a 0-100 km/h sprint at the Sambhar Salt Lake in Rajasthan. Read all the details below.

The Cyberster sportscar has gathered a lot of curiosity around its name at the recent Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. It is planned to be launched in India in March at a starting price tag of Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom). However, MG created a new speed record with it before the official launch.
The Cyberster sportscar has become the fastest car to do a 0-100 km/h sprint at the Sambhar Salt Lake in Rajasthan. It has managed to do the sprint in just 3.2 seconds, making it officially the fastest car to do so in the India Book Of Records and Asia Book Of Records.
Mind you, it is an all-electric vehicle that has two seats and features scissor doors. Additionally, it features a unique convertible design with a smiling fascia and a rear profile with arrow-shaped lights. It is equipped with four digital screens that operate as speedometer, infotainment, and HVAC controls.
MG has crafted the cabin of the Cyberster with a premium touch and high-quality materials. It has brushed aluminium highlights along with a carbon fibre touch inside the cabin. Moreover, it gets leather upholstery with electric seats and an electrically operated convertible roof system.
Powering the Cyberster is a 77 kWh battery pack that features two electric motors, one for each axle. This cumulatively generates a peak power of 503 bhp and 725 Nm of peak torque. The claimed range is said to be 443 km as it features an all-wheel-drive system.
