MG Comet EV now starts at INR 6.99 Lakh, price revision on all MG cars

MG has announced a price revision on its entire range of products in the Indian market. These include the MG Comet EV, the MG ZS EV, the MG Astor, MG Hector and MG Gloster SUV. The highlight of the show is the MG Comet EV which is now a whopping INR 1 lakh more affordable than before.

2024 MG Motor India – Starting Price List

The MG Comet EV now comes with a starting price of INR 6.99 lakh ex-showroom. The MG ZS EV, MG’s flagship electric car in India comes with a starting price of INR 18.98 lakh ex-showroom. This price is for the ‘ZS EV Executive’ variant. The new price cut on the electric vehicle models will improve accessibility as well as encourage faster EV adoption.

MG’s Astor now comes with a price starting INR 9.98 lakh ex-showroom. The MG Hector now comes with a starting price of INR 14.94 lakh ex-showroom. The flagship Gloster SUV is also more affordable with a price tag of INR 37.49 lakh ex-showroom.

2024 MG Motor India – Electric Vehicles

The MG ZS EV comes with a 50.3 kWh Prismatic cell IP69K Rated ASIL-D & UL2580 battery. The battery claims to be the largest in the segment delivering 461 km on range on a single charge. On the other hand, the MG Comet EV features a 17.3 kWh battery pack which provides a range of 230 km on a single charge. The Comet EV also comes with a 42 PS / 110 Nm rear-axle mounted electric motor.

2024 MG Motor India – SUVs

The MG Hector comes with features such as India’s largest 35.56 cm (14-inch) HD portrait infotainment system. The SUV also comes with a panoramic sunroof, Digital Key and ADAS Level 2. The petrol version of the Hector starts at INR 14.94 lakh ex-showroom. The diesel version of the Hector which features a 2.0L Turbocharged engine comes with a price starting INR 17.50 lakh ex-showroom.

In addition to this the Hector also comes with active safety features like Electronic Stability Program, Traction Control System, Hill Assist Control and offers Sunroof across all variants. Furthermore, the brand’s flagship SUV the Gloster is India’s first autonomous (Level 1) premium SUV. with 2WD and 4WD options. The MG Gloster now comes with a starting price of INR 37.49 lakh ex-showroom.
