MG Comet EV – The Core

This small 2-door compact electric vehicle, the MG Comet EV is based on the global GSEV platform. The car is built around a solid steel chassis and the Comet comes with a high strength vehicle body structure for safety. The GSEV platform will not only make the Comet structurally safe, but also result in comfortable space within these compact dimensions. The Comet EV is being pushed out for urban commuters, who use the vehicle solo, or may be with just 1-2 more passengers and want a small car, easy to manage in congested cities. The key focus has been on easy manoeuvring of the Comet in traffic routes and also, an easy to park vehicle even in the tightest of spots. The parent company has sold more than 1 million vehicles so far based on this GSEV platform.

The new 2023 MG Comet EV will come with airbags for added protection of passengers and 17 hot stamped panels on the body-in-white for structural rigidity.
