To bridge this gap Meru Mobility Tech Pvt Ltd., an e-mobility services provider in India has launched Meru ‘Reserve’, a new ride-hailing service that guarantees a hassle-free ride to its customers even during the peak hours.
The Meru Reserve service allows customers to pre-book their rides for an entire month in advance, for their trips to and from the office and without attracting surge pricing. The customer-centric service also eliminates the need to look for a ride and chances of cancelled rides. With Meru Reserve, customers can expect the cab at their doorstep on the day and time of the reservation. Customers also have the option to alter, cancel or reschedule rides at no extra cost.
Using Meru Reserve, customers can book rides for up to 30 days in advance in three simple steps – Customers can in step one, choose Pickup and Drop point, select the number of rides, and choose the duration for the commute. Meru also offers the customers the option of paying directly or bill their fare to the company, eliminating the need to keep track of and maintain invoices for rides taken. In addition to this, the brand has also announced that customers can choose the EV ride option and avail a discount of up to 40% in Mumbai and Delhi.
The Meru Reserve is the country’s first non-subscription and is expected to grow further in the post-COVID world as more individuals are opting to take private transport options for daily commutes instead of mass transit systems such as trains and busses, in lieu of safety from the CoronaVirus. Furthermore, the brand has also been accredited to be the only Indian cab company providing 7-tier safety measures during COVID-19 pandemic and is the first to introduce ozone treatment of its cabs.
