Mercedes-Maybach has introduced its limited edition SL 680 Monogram Series two-door convertible luxury sportscar in India. Check out what’s special about this new top-of-line convertible model below.

Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series – Only 3 cars for India!

Based on its two-door sportscar SL, Mercedes-Maybach has introduced a luxury iteration of the convertible model. Called SL 680 Monogram Series, its launch price is set at Rs 4.2 crore (ex-showroom, India).

Since it is a limited edition model, the company has allotted only 3 units for the Indian market. Nevertheless, it did not hide the fact that it is an absolutely beautiful convertible car to look at.

Offered in two paint options – Red Ambience and White Ambience, both colour grades are offered with a dual-tone treatment on the bonnet and ORVMs with a special black finish and Maybach monograms.

Additionally, it features rose-gold highlights in the headlights and an illuminated front grille with chrome accents. Making it further special are the 21-inch forged alloy wheels and chrome treatment all over the body including the door handles, fenders, bumpers, and door sills.

The cabin is also equipped with a special Manufaktur crystal white Nappa leather with a black contrast. Other features include an electronically tilting 11.9-inch infotainment screen, a 12.3-inch digital console, powered seats with ventilation and memory function, and ADAS safety.

Powering the Monogram Series is the powerful 4.0-litre V8 bi-turbo petrol engine that churns out 580bhp and 800Nm of peak power and torque. It can do 0-100kmph in 4.1 seconds with a top speed of 260kmph.

Mercedes-Maybach will deliver the three designated cars in India in the Q1 of 2026.

Our verdict on Mercedes-Maybach SL 680

The SL moniker has been famous for its luxury and performance combination internationally. With the addition of the Maybach iteration, the Monogram Series SL 680 has now become the most expensive convertible sportscar from the brand in India.
