Mercedes-Benz has officially launched the sixth-generation E-Class Long Wheelbase (LWB) in India, with prices starting at INR 78.50 lakh (ex-showroom). This launch marks a significant milestone for the luxury sedan market in India, as the E-Class LWB is the only right-hand-drive (RHD) version available globally.
The new E-Class LWB boasts a sharper exterior design, featuring LED headlights, a larger grille, 18-inch alloy wheels, and sleek LED tail lights. The dashboard is equipped with a three-screen setup, offering a panoramic sunroof and four-zone auto AC for enhanced comfort. The E-Class LWB is powered by two 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engines: a 204 hp turbo-petrol for the E 200 variant and a 197 hp diesel for the E 220d variant. The top-end E 450 4Matic variant features a powerful 3.0-liter, six-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, delivering 381 hp and 500 Nm of torque.
