Mercedes-Benz has launched the brand’s most affordable all-electric EQA in the Indian market at the price of INR 66 lakh ex-showroom. While, bookings for the Mercedes-Benz EQA have already started the brand has revealed that the deliveries for the Mercedes-Benz EQA will commence from January 2025. The Mercedes-Benz EQA will be available in a single EQA 250+ trim which comes with a front wheel drive. With the facelift Mercedes-Benz EQA the brand has further strengthened its electric vehicle line-up which already includes the EQB, EQE and EQS.
Powering the Mercedes-Benz EQA is a 190 hp/385 Nm electric motor that is paired to a 70.5 kWh battery pack. The front mounted motor powers the front wheels and claims to return a WLTP range of 560 km on a single charge. At a 100 kW DC fast charger the battery can be replenished in about 35 minutes (10-80% SOC) and at a standard 11 kW charger the same takes about 7 hours and 15 minutes.
The facelift of the EQA gets new styling on its exteriors as well as its interiors. The EV comes with a crossover styling featuring Mercedes’ signature star pattern with a full-width light bar on its front. The EQA also features 19-inch ‘AMG’ alloy wheels as standard. The rear of the EQA also comes with a light bar at the rear end. On the exterior, the EQA gets 7 colours including Cosmos Black, Polar White, High Tech Silver, Patagonia Red metallic, Mountain Grey MAGNO and Spectral Blue.
On the inside, the EQA electric SUV features a Cupertino leather upholstery as standard. The EV also comes with a three-spoke steering wheel with capacitive touch controls. In addition to this, the dashboard also receives a backlit star pattern treatment which also extends to the door trim pieces. Also, the air vents receive a rose gold treatment or titanium grey pearl accent. The car also comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and augmented reality navigation system along with the heads-up display. The brand also offers a premium Burmester sound system with Dolby Atmos, 360 camera, ADAS with active brake assist, blind spot monitoring and 7 airbags for all-round protection.
