Mercedes-Benz has expanded its top-end vehicle portfolio in India with the launch of two high-performance and luxury-oriented vehicles: the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupé and the CLE 300 Cabriolet AMG Line. These new models aim to cater to Indian customers seeking a blend of performance, lifestyle, and exclusivity in their automotive choices.
The CLE 300 Cabriolet AMG Line further enriches Mercedes-Benz’s lineup of luxurious cabriolets, offering an open-top driving experience that is both liberating and stylish. The vehicle is equipped with a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine, featuring a 48-volt mild-hybrid system that delivers 258 horsepower. This engine, coupled with AMG’s sporty design elements, ensures a dynamic and comfortable driving experience.
This cabriolet is designed with a focus on both performance and comfort, featuring advanced technologies like the AIRCAP® wind deflector and AIRSCARF® neck heating system, which enhance the driving experience in varying weather conditions. The interior is luxurious, with high-quality leather upholstery, dynamic ambient lighting, and the latest generation of the MBUX infotainment system, providing a seamless and personalized user experience.
The launch of these models aligns with Mercedes-Benz’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence in the luxury automotive market in India. The company has been investing in modernizing its retail infrastructure, with plans to upgrade 25 facilities to international standards in 2024. This includes the inauguration of a new 80,000 square feet luxury facility in Pune, which represents one of the largest Mercedes-Benz outlets in India.
In addition to expanding its product lineup, Mercedes-Benz is also enhancing its customer service with the introduction of the ‘Mobility to Delight’ initiative. This program aims to provide a seamless and enjoyable mobility experience for customers while their vehicles are being serviced, further solidifying the brand’s reputation for offering exceptional customer care.
Mercedes-Benz’s commitment to the Indian market is further underscored by its plans to introduce the EQS Maybach SUV on September 5, 2024. This upcoming launch is expected to set new benchmarks in luxury and innovation, reinforcing the brand’s leadership in the top-end vehicle segment.
The CLE 300 is priced at INR 110 Lakhs (ex-showroom), positioning it as a premium option for customers who desire a combination of luxury, performance, and the unique experience of open-top motoring.
