Mercedes-Benz India sold 7,573 cars in H1 2022

Mercedes-Benz India has released its sales report for Q2 2022, which stands at its highest ever. For the given period, i.e. January to June 2022, the carmaker sold a total of 7,573 units. This, compared to the same period last year, results in year-over-year growth of 56 per cent. The increase in sales is a strong indicator of customers’ faith in Mercedes-Benz’s range of vehicles. Luxury brands are not immune to the continuing global supply-side challenges. Hence, the waiting period remains sustainably high. But, with the growing demand and increase in sales, Mercedes Benz is striving to produce more cars and reduce the current waiting list.

Strong Sales Back By New Launches

One of the major reasons for the increase in sales is the launch of a slew of new car launches. Going forward for Q3, the carmaker already has plans to launch some of the most anticipated Mercedes-Benz models from its global portfolio. All this, with the addition of new dealerships across the country, is helping the brand grow quite fast. Customers also appreciate these efforts by buying more, thus creating the perfect manufacturer-customer relationship.
