Mercedes-Benz EVs with INR 5 lakh discount in India. No Demand?

Mercedes-Benz is offering new discounts on its electric vehicle portfolio. The offer is available to customers who purchase any Mercedes-Benz EV in the month of October 2023. Existing owners of the three-pointed star will be eligible to get upto INR 5,00,000 off on the purchase of any new EV.

INR 5 lakh discount on Mercedes-Benz EVs in India

According to a media report, the discount is being offered in the form of a loyalty bonus. Customers who already own a Mercedes will be able to make use of this offer. The offer is valid on all EV including the EQB, EQE and EQS.

Range of Mercedes-Benz EVs in India

The German carmaker is offering EQB, EQE and EQS range of electric vehicles in India. Amongst these, the EQB is the brand’s most affordable EV in India at INR 74.50 lakh. The EQB comes with a 66.5 kWh battery and dual electric motors. THe system output of these two motors is 288 BHP and 520 Nm. According to WLTP numbers, the EQB can do 423 km on a full charge.

The next EV, or the EQE is priced at INR 1.39 crore. It comes with a 90.56 kWh battery and two electric motors. The EQE puts out 402 BHP and 858 Nm. On a full charge, the battery is good for 550 km (WLTP cycle).

Meanwhile, the flagship EV is the EQS. Mercedes has priced this at INR 1.59 crore. The EV is good for 857 km of range on a full charge.

Mercedes-AMG G63 Grand Edition

Mercedes-Benz has launched a limited edition of the AMG G63 SUV in India. The AMG G63 Grand Edition in India is priced at INR 4 crore, ex-showroom. This limited edition comes with a few cosmetic updates. These include an all-black exterior with highlights in Kalahari Gold Magno. Mercedes has also specced this Limited Edition with matching highlights with bumpers and on the rear spare wheel cover as well. The Limited Edition AMG G63 rides on 22-inch forged AMG alloys in Tech Gold and gets complementary red brake callipers.

On the inside, the German carmaker has opted for an all-black theme with similar gold highlights as on the outside. The seats are covered in black Nappa leather with gold stitching. There are carbon fibre grab handles, a 3-speed multifunction AMG performance steering wheel and illuminated AMG logos on the door trims.
