Skoda has launched the Slavia Matte Edition in India. The Slavia Matte Edition gets the same treatment as the Kushaq Matte Edition launched sometime back. It is available in all the powertrain options.
What’s new in the Slavia Matte Edition?
The Slavia now comes with a matte edition pack. It is based on the Style variant. The car gets a carbon steel exterior paint finished in a matte texture. Further, there is gloss black trim on door handles, ORVMs and other elements like the grille.
Additionally, the car also comes with a couple of new features like powered front passenger seat and footwell illumination. These feature additions have been made across the Style variants.
Customers wanting to pick up the Matte Edition can choose from both the 1.0-litre and the 1.5-litre TSI engines. Both manual and automatic transmission options are available. The Matte edition carries a premium of INR 40,000 over the equivalent regular variant.
Variant-wise prices of the Skoda Slavia Matte Edition:
1.0 TSI MT – INR 15.52 lakh
1.0 TSI AT – INR 16.72 lakh
1.5 TSI MT – INR 17.72 lakh
1.5 TSI AT – INR 19.12 lakh
Skoda Slavia Festive offer
Skoda has also slated the prices of the entry level variant of the Slavia for the upcoming festive season. The base model of the aforementioned model starts at INR 10.89 lakh, ex-showroom. The Skoda Slavia Ambition Plus too comes with chrome elements. These include the front grille, lower door edges and the trunk garnish. Skoda is also providing a dashcam and customers can choose a colour from the existing range. Coming to the engine and gearbox, the Slavia Ambition Plus comes with the 1.0-litre TSI along with a choice of manual or automatic transmission.
Skoda’s MQB-A0-IN platform : More Details
Both the Slavia and the Kushaq are based on Skoda’s made for India MQB-A0-IN platform. This comes under the India 1.0 project of Skoda-Volkswagen. Thanks to this, Skoda has had its largest year in 2022.
Both these aforementioned cars are 5-star rated by GNCAP for adults as well as children. With this, Skoda’s entire line-up consists of 5-star rated models including the Kodiaq, Kushaq and Slavia.
