Mercedes-Benz has launched the new Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance ‘Edition 1’ in the Indian market at the price of INR 3.8 Crore ex-showroom. In addition to this, the German luxury car manufacturer also launched the Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance which is priced at INR 3.3 Crore ex-showroom. Mercedes-Benz also announced that the Edition 1 will be available in limited numbers.
Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance Edition 1 – Exterior and Interior Features
Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance Edition 1 comes with a Manufaktur Alpine Grey colour. In addition to this, the performance oriented car also comes with 21-inch AMG forged wheels with a cross-spoke design. Furthermore, the car also gets seat cover with exclusive AMG nappa leather. The seats also feature a contrast red top stitching for the Edition 1 model.
The Edition 1 model also comes with AMG Exterior Night Package as well as front and side skirt trim, waist trim strip, window weather strips and mirror caps in high gloss black or dark chrome. The car also features an ornamental trim on the rear apron along with with black-chrome AMG twin pipes. The Edition 1 also features a heat-insulating dark tinted glass, a silver-chrome fuel filler cap with an AMG logo and red finished brake callipers.
Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance – Features
Mercedes-Benz is also offering the S Class Saloon with an AMG-specific radiator grille for the first time. The sporty yet imposing grille also comes with vertical louvres and a large three-pointed star. On the rear, the AMG model also comes with trapezoidal, fluted twin-tailpipes with a diffuser.
The Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance comes with Nappa leather upholsteries with an embossed AMG emblem on the headrests. The performance saloon also gets first-class rear cabin with multi-contour seats on the rear. The AMG model also comes with a Performance steering wheel offering the AMG DRIVE UNIT steering wheel buttons. The Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance also comes with seven AMG Dynamic Select driving modes. This includes Electric, Comfort, Battery Hold, Sport, Sport+, Slippery and Individual.
Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance – Powertrain and Performance
Powering the Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance and the Edition 1 is a 4.0-litre V8 engine producing 802 Hp of power and 1430 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with an AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G with RACE START function, and is capable of accelerating from 0-100 kmph in just 3.3 seconds. The car also comes with an electronically limited top speed of 250 kmph. The S 63 E Performance also comes with a 13.1 kWh battery offering a WLTP electric range of 33 kms. The car also comes with MBUX multimedia system with hybrid-specific displays.
