Mash Desert Force 400, military-styled motorcycle introduced in France

French motorcycle manufacturer Mash Motors introduces a new retro-styled motorcycle for the European market. The new motorcycle is called Desert Force 400 and as the name suggests the motorbike comes in a sandy beige shade with military-style trim and is equipped with a 400cc single block engine. 

In terms of its design and styling, the Mash Motors Desert Force 400 features rounded headlamp unit with a protective grille, rounded pod-styled fully digital LCD instrumentation surrounded by telltale lights & shows speed, revolutions per minute, fuel quantity, battery charge, time etc. Next to the single instrument console is the horn placed above the headlamp unit, large fender with licence plate holder, teardrop tank, a black-finished engine with a machine-finished cylinder head, split seats with a high mounted & spring-suspended pillion seat, rounded small stoplight, a canvas pannier on the right, a 10-litre jerry-can mounted on the left-hand side of the bike and a leather tank bag. 

For mechanical parts, the Mash Motors Desert Force 400 comes with a backbone chassis with double cradle mounted engine that rides on conventional telescopic front forks with rubber gaiters and twin coil-spring oil-dampened suspension on the rear. The rider and pillion seats are also spring suspended for extra comfort while traversing over rough terrain. The Desert Force 400 comes with 18-inch spoke wire rims shod in dual-sport tyres and disc brakes on both ends. 

In the engine department, Desert Force 400 comes with a 397cc single-cylinder, air-cooled 4-stroke, dry-sump 4-valves SOHC fuel-injected engine that produces 27.6 Hp of power and 29.9 Nm of torque. The Mash Motors Desert Force 400 weighs 151 kgs dry and comes with a 2-year warranty with unlimited mileage. 

The Mash Motors Desert Force 400 is priced at EUR 4,995 with tax included. The brand will be producing only 103 examples of the Desert Force 400 and all units will come numbered from the factory. With the small power output and twin seats the Mash Motors Desert Force 400 comes A2 Licence legal.
