Maserati launches Ghibli, Quattroporte and Levante in India with V6 petrol engines

Maserati has announced that the Ghibli, Quattroporte & Levanta will now be available in India with a V6 petrol engine. Part of the 2020 portfolio, this is the first time Maserati is offering this V6 motor for the Indian exotic car buyer. Powering all the models will be a 600V6, twin-turbocharged, direct injection GDI, 2979cc petrol motor which produces 350 HP of power and 430 Nm of torque. However, the torque availability is at different RPM in each model. The new petrol V6 engine is Euro-6 compliant and while it is designed by Maserati, it is built at the Ferrari Maranello plant.

The Maserati Levante standard model has a 0-100 kmph sprint in 6 seconds and has a top whack of 251 kmph. The Levante S has a 0-100 sprint time of 5.2 seconds and a top speed of 264 kmph. While the Levante asks for INR 1,41,97,698, the Levante S asks for INR 1,53,07,488.

The Maserate Ghibli with the petrol V6 sprints to 100 kmph in 5.5 seconds and the Ghibli S takes 4.9 seconds to 100 kmph; top speed is 267 kmph and 286 kmph respectively. The Ghibli has been priced at INR 1,31,06,770 while the Ghibli S costs INR 1,44,09,490.

The Maserati Quattroporte sprints to 100 kmph in 5.5 seconds while the Quattroporte S does that in 5 seconds flat; top speed is 270 kmph and 288 kmph respectively and the pricing is INR 1,63,95,455 for the Quattroporte and 1,73,27,201 for the Quattroporte S.
