Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza scores 4 Stars in Global NCAP crash test

Good news for Maruti Suzuki fanboys and also, the company. The Vitara Brezza compact-SUV has scored an impressive 4 star rating at the Global NCAP crash test. The Vitara Brezza is a hot selling car in the compact-SUV space, the largest selling in that case, and this news will only do more good for the car in the long run which is due for a facelift sometime next year.

The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza comes equipped with safety features such as dual front airbags, ISOFIX mounts for child seats, ABS, crumple zones and seatbelt pre-tensioners. For adult production, the Vitara Brezza which was crashed at a speed of 64 kmph showed that there was enough head and neck protection. Even chest protection was adequate. The body shell of the car was announced as stable. For child safety, the Vitara Brezza scored 2 stars.

The Vitara Brezza comes powered by a petrol and diesel engine along with a recently introduced AMT gearbox option as well. It has all the features one needs in a car in that segment, and the sales figures do reflect on the cars popularity.
