The car subscription model is getting increasingly popular in the country. Recently, Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest carmaker, announced its partnership with Quickly by Mahindra Finance to facilitate its subscription model. Under this, customers will get a white plate subscription for the Maruti Suzuki range of vehicles. Alongside this, Maruti Suzuki’s subscription model is now available in Kolkata. And with this, a total of 20 cities offer this subscription model.

One of the main USPs of this model is flexibility and convenience. Customers get to enjoy owning a car without actually buying it. Furthermore, Maruti Suzuki is also offering multiple tenure options, thus making it even more attractive. Customers need to pay a fixed monthly rental amount, and Maruti Suzuki will take care of everything else. By everything else, we mean the vehicle usage charges, registration charges, maintenance, insurance, and other common services related to vehicle usage.
After the tenure is over, the customers have the option to either switch over to a new car or avail the option of purchasing the subscribed car. This model is perfect for the ones who change their cars very often. Moreover, this model will also help the customers who change their cities every 2 to 3 years. To further add to the convenience, customers can also foreclose the subscription at any point in time. Maruti Suzuki mentioned that they have received quite an overwhelming response to this initiative. They are carefully noting down the customers’ feedback and incorporating them to make this offering even more appealing.

As of now, Maruti Suzuki is offering 10 models as a part of the car subscription plan. This includes Ignis, Swift, Baleno, Brezza, S-Cross, Ertiga, Xl6, Ciaz, and Dzire. Customers get five subscription tenures to choose from. These are 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, 4 years and 5 years. Customers can avail of the service through four subscription partners, namely: Quiklyz, Orix, Myles and ALD.
