Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest carmaker, has announced its sales report for June 2022. The carmaker sold a total of 1,55,857 units for the given month. This includes domestic sales of 125,710 units and exports of 23,833 units. Furthermore, it also includes sales to other OEMs of 6,314 units. Maruti Suzuki also talked about The shortage of electronic components, which had a minor impact on the production of vehicles. However, the brand is taking all possible measures to counter the impact.
For the Mini segment, which comprises Alto and S-Presso, Maruti Suzuki sold a total of 14,442 units. Meanwhile, the Compact segment, which accounts for the maximum sales, contributed 77,746 units. This includes Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Ignis, Swift, Tour S, and WagonR. The mid-size segment, which currently only comprises the Ciaz, sold a total of 1,507 units. In the Utility vehicle segment, the Brezza, Ertiga, S-Cross, and XL6 sold a total of 18,860 units. Maruti Suzuki Eeco, which falls under the Van segment, sold a total of 10,130 units. Thus to add up all the domestic passenger vehicle sales, that figure turns out to be 1,22,685 units. The commercial segment that makes up Super Carry sold a total of 3,025 units.
