Maruti Suzuki Jimny is picking up pace. The carmaker has now officially released the showroom viewing schedule for the Jimny. With this, customers across 9 cities in India can check out the SUV.
The Schedule For Experiencing Maruti Suzuki Jimny Is As Follows
As of now, the Maruti Jimny is being showcased in Delhi-NCR. Customers in the capital can experience the Maruti Suzuki Jimny from March 26th to April 6th, 2023. Maruti Suzuki will put the SUV on display at six different showrooms across the region. Furthermore, customers in Chandigarh, Mohali and Ludhiana can view the SUV from March 27th to April 7th.
Meanwhile, customers in Ahmedabad can explore the new Maruti Suzuki Jimny from March 26th to April 5th. The SUV will arrive at the Mumbai showrooms from March 27th to April 5th.
Going towards the east now, Maruti Suzuki will showcase the Jimny at six different Nexa showrooms in Raipur and Bhubaneswar. This will take place from March 26th to April 6th. Then finally, Jimny will arrive so the customers living around Bangalore. They can check out the SUV at their nearest Nexa showrooms starting from March 26th to April 5th.
What Do We Know So Far?
As of now, the Jimny will come in two variants. These are, namely, Zeta and Alpha. The equipped engine is a 1.5-litre petrol motor. This unit produces 103 BHP at 6,000 rpm and 134.2 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The engine is available in either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission. Suzuki’s AllGrip Pro all-wheel drive system is a standard offering with the Jimny thus adding to its off-roading capabilities.
Rivals And Expected Price Range
Once launched, the Jimny will go head to head with the Mahindra Thar and Force Gurkha. We expect Maruti Suzuki to put on a price tag of INR 12 lakhs for this lifestyle off-roader.
