Maruti Suzuki opens 500th NEXA sales outlet for India

Maruti Suzuki India Limited marked a significant milestone on August 23, 2024, with the inauguration of its 500th NEXA sales outlet in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Expanding the Maruti Suzuki Footprint

With the addition of the new NEXA outlet in Bengaluru, Maruti Suzuki’s overall sales network has expanded to an impressive 3,925 outlets across 2,577 towns and cities in India. This extensive network, which includes the ARENA, NEXA, and Commercial sales channels, reflects Maruti Suzuki’s commitment to being accessible to customers throughout the country, ensuring that a top-tier car buying experience is never far from reach.

A Commitment to Customer Satisfaction

Mr. Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director & CEO of Maruti Suzuki India Limited, expressed his gratitude towards the company’s customers and dealer partners during the inauguration. “I extend my heartfelt thanks to our customers and our dealer partners for their continued trust in Maruti Suzuki. It is their unwavering support and enthusiasm that inspires us to continuously surpass our own limits and strive for excellence in everything we do,” he said.

Mr. Takeuchi further emphasized the importance of proximity and customer experience in Maruti Suzuki’s success. “One of the biggest reasons for customer satisfaction is proximity of network and buying experience at our sales outlets. As India is growing, the customer preferences are evolving. So, our continued focus is to surpass these preferences through our products and by offering them the best buying experience.”

The Rise of NEXA: A Success Story

Launched in July 2015, the NEXA retail channel was conceived to attract a new category of customers by offering a premium car buying experience. Within just a year, NEXA had already established 100 outlets across 94 cities, laying the groundwork for its rapid expansion.

The numbers speak volumes about NEXA’s success. In the financial year 2023-24, NEXA recorded sales of over 5.61 lakh vehicles, marking a substantial 54% growth compared to the previous year—a rate that significantly outpaced the overall industry growth. Today, NEXA accounts for nearly 30% of Maruti Suzuki’s domestic sales, showcasing the channel’s critical role in the company’s strategy.

NEXA’s product portfolio includes some of Maruti Suzuki’s most popular models, such as the Ignis, Baleno, Fronx, Ciaz, Jimny, XL6, Grand Vitara, and Invicto. These vehicles are not only well-regarded for their performance and reliability but also for the premium buying experience that NEXA dealerships provide.
