Maruti Suzuki Tour H1 : More Details
The Tour H1 is nothing but an Alto K10 fit for commercial use. The hatchback comes with black bumpers, halogen headlamps, black ORVMs and black door handles. It is equipped with steel rims.
According to the carmaker, the Tour H1 will offer a fuel economy of 24.60 km/l on petrol and 34.46 km/kg on CNG. This should make it an attractive offering for fleet owners. The Alto is a popular vehicle in not just cities, but in mountains as well, where the roads are narrow.
Powertrain of the Maruti Suzuki Tour H1
The Tour H1 comes with the tried and tested 1.0-liter K Series motor. This engine develops 66 BHP @ 5,500 rpm and 89 Nm @ 3,500 rpm in petrol mode. When running on CNG, the engine pushes out 56 BHP @ 5,300 rpm and 82.1 Nm @ 3,400 rpm.
Safety Features of the Maruti Suzuki Tour H1
Keeping up with the times, the Tour H1 comes with a host of safety features. Some of these include dual airbags, seat belts with pretensioners and load limiters (front), seat belt reminders for all occupants, engine immobilizer, ABS with EBD. It also comes with a speed limiter (80 km/h) and reverse parking sensors.
Amongst other things, Maruti has been on an expansion spree. The carmaker added 310 service touch points in FY 22-23. Till date, this has been the highest ever number for India’s largest carmaker. Key highlight among this is the fact that most of these were opened up in non urban areas. This means a higher serviceability for customers in the interiors and other far flung areas.
