Maruti Suzuki has launched their new car, the S-Presso dubbed as a Mini-SUV for the Indian market. The S-Presso has been launched primarily to rival the Renault Kwid, and the prices start at INR 3.69 lakh. The S-Presso will be sold via Maruti Suzuki Arena showrooms in India and will be sold in both manual and AMT gearbox options. The S-Presso will be sold in a new orange and blue paint scheme along with other shades which include red, white, grey and silver.

Powering the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso is a 1.0L, K10, BS6 petrol engine producing 50 kW of power @ 5500 RPM and 90 Nm of torque @ 3500 RPM matched to either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT gearbox. Maruti Suzuki claims that the S-Presso will deliver 21.7 kmpl in the Vxi / Vxi+ variants and 21.4 kmpl mileage in the Std / Lxi variant.
Safety features include ABS with EBD, seat belt with force limiter and pre-tensioner, seat belt reminder, rear parking sensors, high speed warning and park assist system. The S-Presso is built on the Maruti Suzuki 5th generation HEARTECT platform and is compliant with frontal offset, side impact and pedestrian crash test requirements.
Features on the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso include clear lens headlamp and tail lamp, LED DRLs, full wheel cover, body cladding, body coloured ORVMs, silver accents on front grille, all-black interiors, touchscreen infotainment, digital speedometer console, fabric seats, contrast painted accents on the inside, steering mounted audio controls, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto connectivity and multiple utility storage spots.
