Recently, it was also rumoured that the first production model was rolled off the production line from the Gurugram production plant and that the brand plans to sell the SUV through its premium sales channel – NEXA.

It was also rumoured that the brand will bring in a 5-door ‘Practical’ iteration of the Jimny for customers in India and a new media report suggests that the 5-door version could be based on the Toyota Raize platform, a result of the Toyota-Suzuki Global partnership.
