Heavy Demand For Maruti Suzuki Products In The Overseas Market

Crossing the 2 lakh milestone in exports for the second consecutive year is a great indicator. Maruti Suzuki reflected on the key parameters for this success. This includes the trust, quality, reliability, performance, and affordability of the products. This achievement also aligns with its strong commitment to the Government of India’s ‘Make in India’ initiative. The aim is to manufacture products to delight global customers.

Maruti Suzuki also thanked for the support from its parent company Suzuki Motor Corporation. As they enabled them to leverage a wider distribution network across the globe. The brand confirmed that they are further adding more models to its portfolio. This will help them sustain excitement in the export markets.

Exports More Than Double Than 2019

Noteworthy to mention, the company’s exports in the calendar year 2022 were more than double the volume it exported in the pre-COVID year 2019.

Maruti Suzuki’s Export History

Maruti Suzuki started exports back in the financial year 1986-87. They started off with the company’s first consignment to Hungary. Fast forward to today, Maruti Suzuki exports to over 100 countries. Maruti Suzuki vehicles are getting massively popular among customers in regions like Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, ASEAN and other neighbouring regions. The company currently exports 16 models at present. In 2022, the highest exported models by Maruti Suzuki were, Swift, DzireS-Presso, Baleno and Brezza.
