Maruti Suzuki has been wanting to do something unconventional after watching the Renault Kwid success story. After many speculative stories, this is the real deal. Maruti Suzuki at the ongoing Indian Auto Expo 2018 showcased the ConceptFutureS vehicle which will be a budget hatchback, but built with a SUV-like / crossover-like design.
As you can see, the styling is unique, and unlike any other Maruti Suzuki product out on sale. The tall stance, compact size and bold detailing all around is expected to make the ConceptFutureS a vehicle to look out for in 2018-19. This budget hatchback would be priced in the range similar to the Renault Kwid, so expect a tag of INR 3.5 – 5.5 lakh.
Designed in-house by Maruti Suzuki, the car will have ample room on the inside & also ample ground clearance to keep you going. As you can see, there is a bold front face with a massive grille, sleep headlamps, a unique A-pillar, sloping roofline, pronounced wheel arches, body cladding and a raised rear profile.
Inside, the concept suggests that this car will have a centrally mounted infotainment + speedometer console. This will allow more storage space in front of the driver & front passenger. The interiors will also bring in new colour themes to appeal to the masses and break the conventional monotony of grey & black in this segment.
In terms of space, the tall design will allow for more headroom and ensure comfort & safety to passengers.
